 For some Residents a stay at the Home is only temporary. Sometimes a loved one has been released from the hospital, but is not yet ready to go back home on their own. In other cases, Residents are here only a short while to regain mobility through therapy.
In either case, many stays at the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home are short term. Through outreach efforts, Jewish Senior Services is able to help many seniors remain in their homes with information and referrals to assistance. Outreach services also help clients remain connected to friendships, activities and involvement in the outside community.
