The Rose Blumkin Jewish Home has been regarded as a premier long-term care facility in Omaha for decades. Continually striving to provide exceptional services and programs,
the Home is able to meet the high expectations of the Omaha Jewish community.
We take tremendous pride in our well-trained, competent and experienced nursing and professional staff. Our reputation for quality is built on the strength
of our nursing department. Our team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants provide care for Residents 24 hours a day.
The Home also follows Kosher dietary standards, certified by the Va’ad Hakashrut of Omaha. All meals are prepared and served in accordance with Jewish dietary laws.
And of course, social activities abound at the Blumkin Home. Daily activities and special events keep Residents mentally
and physically stimulated. Whether you are at the Home for a short or long stay, rest assured there will be plenty to keep you busy.
At the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home, we know that the decision to place a loved one in extended care is never taken lightly. Our experienced professional and nursing staff is here to answer your questions and to guide you through the admission process as well as to smooth the transition for a new Resident moving from life at home to life at our Home. Residents are encouraged to bring furniture items and decorations to personalize their room and make their space one that is familiar and comforting.
Care at the Blumkin Home is designed to involve residents in a respectful, loving lifestyle that ensures that they remain active both mentally and physically. Activity blossoms here daily and Residents are free to participate in as many, or as few, events as they so choose.
Rest assured knowing your family member receives 24-hour professional care and a variety of services close-at-hand for specialized care such as rehabilitation therapy and memory loss. We work closely with physicians, family members and social workers to ensure that each resident receives the care they deserve.
