Individual Outreach Services
Jewish Senior Outreach Social Workers are available and responsive to our community's elderly and their families when needed. We are a trusted referral source and sounding board, and the relationships we build are sustained over time.
Home visits and ongoing contact provide older adults the needed support to maintain their independence and continue in their own homes for as long as possible. Jewish Senior Outreach Social Workers help keep older community members connected with home health services, Kosher Meals on Wheels, transportation to medical appointments and community events. We become a familiar partner to individuals and families when difficult care decisions become pertinent.
Family members are also encouraged to call our Social Workers for information and guidance to lead them through the sometimes overwhelming maze of caring for an elderly parent.
